The village Ansouis has been beautifully restored. At the foot of the main historical monument - an ancient medieval castle, which affects its outer austerity, there are small stone houses of XV-XVII century, the remains of ancient walls, a fire tower, an angle tower, some sculptured fountains. All these make your walk around the village pleasant and mysterious.

The village is very beautiful, because it is completely buried in flowers. Some of them grow along the stone walls, some in small gardens and terraces near the village houses. Man-made gardens are located around the village too. Here you can see signs with the names of wild flowers that grow in them and which so carefully are taken care of farmers. As you can see, you are expected on the botanical walk with aromas of flowers and herbs of Provence in Ansouis.
