Paul Cézanne, the representative of post-impressionism, was also inspired by the incredibly beautiful landscapes of Provence in his creativity.

The most famous paintings were painted on the French Riviera. By contemplating these wonderful paintings, you can try to understand the delicate inner world of the painter. These true works of art can simultaneously attract the eye, endeavour and rise emotions, but also repel. Each painting of Cezanne, who was still in doubt, that it cannot reflect his dreams, to find ways to transfer them on canvas, was proof and denial of the artist’s fears. Today, every traveler can visit the artist’s studio in Aix-en-Provence, where nothing has changed in the interiors from the time of the genius’ life. Here one can see the film «Cézanne’s universe», (L’univers de Cézanne), which chronicles the painter’s life and work. The workshop is open to visitors every day; it is possible to make both group visits and individual visits.

Numerous works of art of famous masters of their craft are collected on the French Riviera, which helps to organize art exhibitions at a decent level.
