The Grand Prix of Formula 1 in France returns to the calendar season since 10 years after its abolition. The competitions will be held in three summer stages at the Paul Ricard Circuit. This was reported by the International Automobile Federation, and confirmed by Christian Estrosi, President of the GIP Grand Prix of France in Le Castel, Mayor of Nice and politician.
"We are pleased to announce that the Grand Prix of France will be held in our region of Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur. June 24, 2018 France will take the next stage of the race of Formula-1 on our land! "- so commented Estrosi this news.
The International Automobile Federation has published a calendar of "Formula-1" for the next year. In the next season, the 21st stage of the Grand Prix is expected. The main features of the new calendar: the transfer of the Grand Prix of Azerbaijan - from June to April, the Grand Prix of Russia - from early May to the end of September, as well as the returning of the Grand Prix of France.
