Congratulations to our countryman Etienne Leroy with a victory in the prestigious championship!
In November 2016 we have reported the news that the talented chef confectioner of Hotel du Cap - Eden-Roc in Antibes, would participate in the World Pastry Cup in Lyon. Monday, January 22, it was hosted this prestigious event, which was attended by teams of young chefs from around the world, in total of 23 teams of cooks. Team of France was represented by three masters of the culinary arts - Etienne Leroy (Sugar / Pastry Category), Jean-Thomas Schneide (Ice Category) and Bastien Girard (Chocolate Category). Our team won gold at this prestigious championship left behind the teams of Japan and Switzerland, which respectively won silver and bronze.
The theme of the World Pastry Cup in 2017 was rock and roll. Our winners impressed a competent jury, consisting of world famous confectioners, and the audience with their beautiful desserts. Congratulations to our champions, and especially Etienne Leroy, who is from Antibes and was the captain of our winning team, and wish him every success and further victories!
